About

Stuart Marshall started out as a mechanical engineer in the medical automation field.  After finding a passion for composite materials, he moved from high performance automotive to working in the open wheel racing industry.  Stuart participated in designing two different race series platforms: Formula Atlantic and Formula Nippon.  Using creative methods of manufacturing lightweight structures from metallic and composite parts proved useful to several industries.  Stuart developed the manufacturing and design approach for a concept jet demonstrator that made it from paper to flight in 200 days.  While running operations for an engineering firm, he produced novel UAV platforms at a rate of one vehicle per week in production and coordinated spare part manufacturing to support a race series in Japan.  Soon after, transitioning a majority development company to supporting the aerospace industry required implementing processes and procedures to maintain traceability of part integrity.  This has led to supporting a portfolio of complex vehicle assemblies for prime aerospace businesses.    In the most recent years, he led the technical design and manufacturing of complete airframes for new VTOL platforms with the leading rotorcraft companies in the country.

Stuart Marshall takes a player coach approach to development.  Designing and building in parallel to meet aggressive program schedules.  He is as comfortable in the shop as he is in CAD.
