Marshall Ventures provides design, engineering, and project management services to assist companies through the process of creating new product platforms. With extensive experience designing and manufacturing complex assemblies in fast pace environments, Marshall Ventures supports making technical demonstrators to production ready designs.
How Marshall Ventures Can Help
Marshall Ventures wants be a part of your product development. Here are some ways that we can help:
Create a Statement of Work (SOW) – Marshall Ventures will work with you to develop a work breakdown of all of the tasks required to design and/or manufacture your product.
…then
Using an SOW, Marshall Ventures will put together a cost proposal of the required effort. Stuart will provide himself as a designer, engineer, and/or project manager. He also has a large supplier base built up from over 12 years developing products in Southern California. That supplier base can contribute in the engineering and manufacturing to bring the product to fruition.
Stuart and his supplier base can provide the following services:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT + DESIGN + ENGINEERING + CAD + ANALYSIS + CFD + CNC PART MACHINING + 3D PRINTING + METROLOGY INSPECTION / REVERSE ENGINEERING + ASSEMBLY TOOL DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING + ASSEMBLY + COMPOSITE TOOL DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING + COMPOSITE PART MANUFACTURING + NON-DESTRUCTIVE INSPECTION (NDI/NDT) + STRUCTURAL TESTING + PART SURFACE FINISHING

About
Stuart Marshall started out as a mechanical engineer in the medical automation field. After finding a passion for composite materials, he moved from high performance automotive to working in the open wheel racing industry. Stuart participated in designing two different race series platforms: Formula Atlantic and Formula Nippon. Using creative methods of manufacturing lightweight structures from metallic and composite parts proved useful to several industries. Stuart developed the manufacturing and design approach for a concept jet demonstrator that made it from paper to flight in 200 days. While running operations for an engineering firm, he produced novel UAV platforms at a rate of one vehicle per week in production and coordinated spare part manufacturing to support a race series in Japan. Soon after, transitioning a majority development company to supporting the aerospace industry required implementing processes and procedures to maintain traceability of part integrity. This has led to supporting a portfolio of complex vehicle assemblies for prime aerospace businesses. In the most recent years, he led the technical design and manufacturing of complete airframes for new VTOL platforms with the leading rotorcraft companies in the country.
Stuart Marshall takes a player coach approach to development. Designing and building in parallel to meet aggressive program schedules. He is as comfortable in the shop as he is in CAD.
